As part of this project, the construction and extension of the Voivodeship Road No. 869 on the section from the S-19 Jasionka junction to the DK 9 junction in Rudna Mała is planned. The project’s material scope covers the implementation of phases I and II and III of the investment. The first stage of the investment is planned to build a new section of DW connecting the S19 expressway (Jasionka node) with the former national road No 19 (currently DW 878) with a length of 1.72 km. Parameters of the road being built: class G, load capacity 115kN/axle, street section, two-way section separated by a dividing strip – each road is wide. 7.00 m, with 2 lanes after 3.5 m. As part of the task, the WD-1 bridge is planned to be built in the course of DW869 over the brook Świerkowiec and the construction of the SR-2 roundabout with the extension of the link sections north and south on the former DK 19. The second stage of the investment is planned to extend the provincial road from the incorporation into the SR-2 roundabout (end of the first stage) in the north direction to the connection with the existing DW No. 869 running westward with the construction of the intersection of the above-mentioned roundabout roads. The planned length of the extended road is 0.92 km. As part of the third stage of the investment, DW 869 is planned to extend from the end of the second stage to DK 9 (the end of the fourth stage) by a second road with the construction of the necessary communications, including the construction of 4 junctions (including 3 roundabouts). The planned length of the extended road is approx. It’s 5,16 miles. Parameters of the extended road: class G, load capacity 115kN/axle, street section, two-way section separated by a dividing strip – each road is wide. 7.00 m, with 2 lanes after 3.5 m. The task also includes the construction and reconstruction of pavements and bicycle paths. The main users of the project will be: residents of Rzeszów and surrounding communes, persons connected with economic zones of Rzeszów and nearby companies i.e. investors, employees, suppliers, customers, passengers of the Jasionka Airport and other drivers of vehicles moving along this section of the road.
