The project includes construction with the extension of DW 685 with engineering facilities and necessary technical infrastructure over a section of approx. 8.4 km from km 0 + 060.5 (Broadway DK 19 as TEN-T) to km 8+ 462. The task is entirely located in Białystok County in the municipality of Zabłudów (ZIT BOF area) The route runs mainly in unbuilt area (trail cut), except for the initial section with a length of approx. 1 km in the area of Zabłudów (street or semi-street). The width of the road is largely 6 m; only in Zabłudów is larger and locally up to 9 m. Technical parameters of the roads differ from normative requirements, which negatively affect the fluidity and safety of traffic, increases negative environmental impacts. Its main users will be residents of the BOF, mainly the municipality of Zabłudów and the population of the hajnowski district, including students (DW 685 is part of the main access route from Hajnówka/Białowieży to Białystok).
