The subject of the investment is the extension of the provincial road No.598 to the section by a long time. 2.72 km, of which approx.0.46 km runs within the limits of the city of Olsztyn, and approx.2.26 km in the area of Stawigud. Adapting its parameters to completed communal and voivodship roads with which it is connected directly and to the planned southern bypass along the national road 16 will help achieve the basic objective of the action. The task will increase the availability of the city of Olsztyn, its functional area and improve their communication with the network of national roads, including TEN-T. Better, more efficient, safer communication will strengthen the position of the city as a labour market, improve the competitiveness of the region and positively affect the revitalisation of entrepreneurship in Warmia and Mazury.
