The project is aimed at 820 unemployed people (including approx. 50 % of women) residents of Kraków County aged 18-29, registered in the UPPK, of which at least 60 % – 495 people are so-called. NEETs) as defined by the NEET category under the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020. 20 % of participants in the project will be 165 people in difficulty on the labour market: i.e. persons with disabilities, long-term unemployed or low-skilled persons.The recruitment will be carried out on a continuous basis in all units of the UPPK by means of applications, applications and questionnaires submitted by unemployed persons until the planned number of participants is reached. The project assumes that the recruitment process of participants will be completed by 15.06.2020. The project is a response to the challenges of the Europe 2020 Strategy and supports and promotes the employment or self-employment of young inhabitants of the Kraków County through planned project activities. The actions set out in the project are aimed primarily at shaping the skills (professional and interpersonal) of participants consisting of the qualifications of young people and the acquisition of professional experience. These activities will enable them to acquire skills or ability to perform tasks at the workplace, facilitate young people’s entry into the labour market through the planned forms of the project.In addition, the potential of young people to develop entrepreneurship on the local market and in the region will be exploited. Nevertheless, actions in the project can improve the situation of young people on the labour market by facilitating the acquisition of work experience in the workplace through traineeships and by starting a business. On the other hand, training will be aimed at filling the competence gap regarding professional skills. As part of the project, participants will be covered by job mediation services and individually dedicated services.
