As part of the project, two tasks are planned. The first task will be to develop a draft planning plan for Polish maritime areas on a scale of 1:200 000. The draft plan will be drawn up by the Director of the Maritime Office in Gdynia, who will act on behalf of the Directors of Maritime Offices in Słupsk and Szczecin (on the basis of the agreement). The draft plan will cover the Polish exclusive economic zone, the territorial sea and the internal sea waters of the Gulf of Gdańsk. The draft plan will be drawn up in accordance with the requirements of the Act on Maritime Areas of the Republic of Poland and Maritime Administration (including the proposed changes) and in accordance with the regulation of the Minister of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy and the Minister of Regional Development on spatial plans for Polish maritime areas. The Environmental Impact Forecast will be prepared for the draft plan, in accordance with the requirements of the Act of 3.10.2008 on the provision of information on the environment and its protection, public participation in environmental protection and environmental impact assessments. The draft plan and the projection will be subject to public consultation. There are plans to organise 4 large meetings, one of which is the so-called. “public debate” according to the draft law amending the Maritime Administration Act. In addition, international meetings are planned for which representatives of the Baltic countries will be invited to discuss the provisions of the draft plan. The second task is to create an IT infrastructure that will improve the work on the draft plan. The infrastructure created will be a common repository of all types of data used in the development of the plan. Part of the infrastructure will be tools to support the consultation of the plan by enabling public participation in the planning consultation process through modern information technologies
