The main tasks of the project will be: 1. preparation of in-depth comparative analysis on the system of teacher education in selected European countries and recommendations on changes in the system of teacher education in Poland, 2. elaboration of model teacher education programmes in universities. The programmes will include, among others, innovative pedagogical methods (learning-by-doing, design thinking), use of digital tools, development of social competences, competences in solving educational problems. Representatives of employers/entrepreneurs or employers’ organisations who will be actively involved in the development of teacher education programmes will have to have experience in cooperation with organizational units of universities conducting studies in the field of teaching specialisation, i.e.They take part in the development of education programmes or sit on the Programme Boards of Study Directions. The participation of representatives of employers/entrepreneurs or employers’ organisations will allow to make use of existing knowledge and experience in the implementation of studies.The programmes developed should take into account the needs of employers/entrepreneurs to train high-quality staff for the economy. Basic organizational units of universities, which will be actively involved in the development of study programmes, will have to have a category A and conduct studies with a teaching specialty. The participation of representatives of entities fulfilling this condition will allow the development of high-quality model education programmes.
