The applicant of the project is the University of Wrocław, which is a public higher school, which trains under 18 000 students/years in full-time studies (kd.1). All units fulfil the conditions which the organizational units of the university must fulfil in order to conduct studies in a specific field of study and level of education specified in the Law – PoSW and in the implementing acts of the Law. UWr is not in liquidation, has not applied to the Minister responsible for higher education for permission to liquidate, and the Minister responsible for higher education has not announced the suspension of the university’s powers to conduct studies (kd.2). During the project, i.e. from 1.09.2017 to 31.08.2019 (kd. 4) support will be given to 279 students/s(237 K and 42 M) i.e. at least 30 % of students (kd.11) of the last IV semesters of studies in the years 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 in the following fields: Microbiology, Biotechnology, Pedagogy, Special Pedagogy, History, Bachelor of Buisiness and Administration, International and European Law. The traineeships will last from 120 hours to 160 hours, with a duration of at least 20 hours per week (kd. 6. Traineeship programmes will serve to make practical use of learning outcomes acquired during studies and will contribute directly to improving the professional competences of the participants. By adapting the scope of traineeships to the requirements of employers and the labour market, students will increase their chances of finding employment after graduation. Erasmus Plus+ beneficiaries will not be supported (kd. 5. The vast majority of traineeships will take place in Dolnośląskie Voivodship.The university, on the day of submission of the application, has formalised and documented cooperation with employers on practical elements of education (k.prem.5).
