The aim of the project is to improve competences and acquire practical skills that meet the needs of the economy and the labour market of students of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Faculty as part of the activities of universities supported by the ESF by carrying out at least 206 months of internships (360 hours) in renowned companies consistent with the profile of stud studies. IIIr. studies lic. and IIr. master’s degree. It’s a mat. 87 stud. and Inf. It’s 119 studs. In accordance with the Mission and development strategy, Department for the years 2013-2016 (e.g. IV.11 Strategy of the University of Lodz) should develop specialities linked to the market environment and monitor labour market demand by adjusting the offer of studies I and II.Special attention should be paid not to theoretical knowledge but to directional knowledge and orientation in the field of study, i.e. knowledge connected with the labour market and focused on the future pursuit of the profession. Tasks and activities in our project lead to these competences. The project covers its scope, ex. activities related to the implementation of traineeships, not financed from the state budget (KD 9). The cost of the projected expenditure per participant is estimated at PLN 8 161.17, i.e. 54.41 % of the costs per participant provided for by the IOK. (KD 7). Implementation of the project will contribute 2.32 % to achieving the result of PO WER, i.e. 10,000 people who have increased their competences in the framework of the activities of universities supported by the ESF. It is planned that 186 stud. will raise its qualifications, i.e. 90 % of the 206 participants.
