Children’s University – Youth University.

The project consists of implementing a curriculum aimed at non-standard recipients of higher education through the launch of the Children’s and Youth University. The number of participants in the project is 285 people (215K, 70M), of which 15 are parents and 270 are children and adolescents in the following age ranges: 7-10 years, 11-14 years and 15-17 years. The result will be the raising of competences by 230 people (including 200 women) within the framework of the activities of universities supported by the ESF.The programme focuses on developing 3 types of competences relevant to the target group (language, IT-technical and personal).Language competences are raised within the scope of 1 – classes in English, classes in Polish, language and sports camp. 2 – computer workshops, robotics workshops, math classes.Personal competence – within the back. 3 – will increase during artistic workshops (drawings) and workshops for parents.Special types of competences intersect each other, but for the purposes of systematising assumptions, the above ranges have been adopted. The project is implemented in partnership with the City of Zabrze, thanks to which it will allow the long-term strengthening of the local community of Zabrze, the labour market and the economic sector in the city.The Leader and Partner declare that the signed Partnership Agreement for the implementation of the project called: Youth University WST between a leader and a partner working for education.
