Identifying the directions of innovative development of the country and region and leading sectors and technologies and the increasing demand for specialist staff for developing areas of the bioeconomy force the creation of new training offers. The aim of the project is to increase the quality and efficiency of doctoral education by establishing and implementing high-quality Interdisciplinary Doctoral Studies at the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection (ISD BiOŚ) with an academic profile. The project will cover only activities related to the creation and implementation of high-quality doctoral programmes implemented through interdisciplinary international doctoral programmes [DOST.6 criteria]. The following actions will be undertaken within the framework of the project: Development of an interdisciplinary programme of international doctoral studies, improving soft competences, strengthening researcher’s workshop, developing teaching skills, student mobility, support for the implementation of an individual researcher’s programme. Support will be provided for 9K/3M from the 2018/2019 call. The project will last no less than 24 months and no longer than 60 months [DOST cover. 4]. The average value of the project per participant will not exceed PLN 135 000. [Critate DOST.5] Project funds will not be spent on activities financed from the state budget for education, such as the functioning of studies, activities related to conducting studies, the costs of conducting doctoral studies, doctoral scholarships, scholarships from pro-quality grants, or social support for doctoral students.
