Within the framework of the project, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education will develop doctoral programmes, in cooperation with representatives of the academic and scientific community and with the active participation of representatives of employers‘or employers’ organisations. The programmes will address both the profiling of studies and the definition of basic learning outcomes and methods for students to achieve them. An important aspect of the programmes under preparation will also be to take into account content relevant for socio-economic development, including ensuring the possibility of transfer/commercialisation of the results of doctoral studies. The education programmes created should also contribute to the development of research competences, the competences of soft doctoral students. The programmes will cover doctoral studies for all areas of education, including those conducted in more than one area and conducted by more than one scientific unit. The established doctoral programmes will be based on conclusions developed under the so-called. Salzburg II initiatives, published in 2010 and the “Rules for innovative doctoral training” developed by the ERA Steering Group and recommended in the conclusions of the Council of the European Union. Developed curricula for interdisciplinary doctoral programmes of international doctoral programmes as well as doctoral programmes, crucial for the economy and society, supporting the country’s innovation and ensuring the possibility of transfer/commercialisation of the results of doctoral studies will be implemented in the future in the form of a competition.
