The best of the best!

The aim of the project is to support highly gifted students in developing their scientific activity, innovation, creativity, by enabling them to participate in international competitions or professions. Participation in global competitions and competitions allows students to compare their achievements/possibility with other great people/teams. It also develops a competitive spirit and affects the development of student competences. The prestige associated with obtaining high placements in the competition/competition will also affect the direction of career development of students. Moreover, participation in international competitions and competitions and successes of Polish students on the international arena will contribute to improving the image of Poland, increasing the recognition of Polish universities as well as encouraging foreign students to receive all or part of their education in Polish universities. Support to highly gifted students may be used, in particular, to finance their costs of participating in international competitions or competitions (travel costs, accommodation, fees for participation in international competitions/competitions), as well as the purchase of the funds necessary to prepare the project which is the subject of the competition/international competition. The intervention undertaken should lead to increased interest in future research by gifted students. Successes in the international arena will also influence the recognition of Polish scientists and scientific units. The planned non-competition project to support the participation of gifted students in global competitions and competitions is a continuation of the programme of the Minister of Science and Higher Education entitled. Generation of the Future, established on the basis of a communication from the Minister of Science and Higher Education dated 3 October 2012 (M. P. 2012, item. 697) as amended and implemented within the framework of the system project of the Ministry of Science.
