The main objective of the project is to support the institutional capacity of Polish universities through academic cooperation with foreign entities, to increase the competence of academic staff and the potential of the institutions to receive people from abroad.The aim of the project will be achieved through training support dedicated to teaching, scientific and administrative staff of universities holding the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education and scientific units conducting education and organizational preparation of the aforementioned entities, organisation of a place dedicated to serving students and foreign staff, and nationalisation of related activities. The key action will also be to shape attitudes of openness and tolerance in the academia and the social environment of universities.Two calls for programmes are planned – May 2018 and May 2019.Result indicator – Number of people who, thanks to the ESF support, have increased their competence in the field of institutional capacity of universities in the field of internationalisation – 350.Product indicator – Number of people supported by the ESF in terms of institutional capacity of universities in the field of internationalisation – 400. Implementation of projects to support the institutional capacity of universities in the field of internationalisation;2. Exchange of experience related to participation in the Welcome to Poland project.The applications for funding under the Programme will be attended by universities, holding the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education or scientific units providing education. Welcome to Poland programmes will be implemented in a partnership formula, where a foreign entity, which will act on the basis of legal regulations concerning higher education in a given country, will be able to partner.
