The project is part of an integrated project with the number of PZ03. Its aim is to support the process of deinstitutionalisation of services provided to people with mental disorders and illnesses by testing the innovative model of the Environmental Center for Mental Health – for adults and for children and young people – in the Bielany District, Warsaw. Assumptions for the Model were developed in the first stage of D003/15. The model is inclusive, involving actors from different areas, in a single network of co-ordination of support and services for people with mental crisis experience. The main approach to work in centres is personalism and therapy focused on the needs of the person, their dignity and rights. i.e. an inclusive model of services implemented in a personalistic approach and therapy focused on the needs, dignity and rights of the person. Direct actions in this project are aimed at the recovery of people in the local environment, the development of cooperation networks, the support of medical, social and educational actors in change (standards, change management) and the training of staff. Testing of Model D003/15 is a key goal of the project, and its results will be included in the final report and developed standards of implementation and management, implementation of Model services and their evaluation (horizontal project PZ01).Implementation of the substantive tasks of the project, i.e. the organisation of the Coordination Centre in Bielany District, the environmental center of mental health in Bielany Hospital, the environmental center of mental health for children and youth, as well as prevention and promotion of health. Coordination of individual therapeutic processes of OzDKP, as described in M, increases early interventions, faster recovery and is more effective over time.
