Small Big Changes – Network for the Development of Social Innovation

The project is compatible with SZOOP PO WER, project documentation and national legislation in terms of the way the project is implemented and the scope of the project. The project complies with the principle of equal opportunities between men and women, accessibility for people with disabilities, sustainable development and other relevant Union rules and Union legislation. The project’s objectives are in line with the Europe 2020 Strategy and Poland 2020 on the directions of actions aimed at increasing employment and the level of professional activity. At the same time, they are consistent with the National Programme for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion and the National Programme for the Development of Social Economy. The aim of the project is to increase the use of social innovation in the area of the integration of people away from the labour market by supporting the incubation of new ideas that increase the activity of this group of people and to disseminate and integrate 3 tested innovations into practice by the end of July 2019. The target group of the project is people away from the labour market and all persons/groups/entities interested in improving their labour market situation. The project consists of creating a Social Innovation Incubator, which will provide comprehensive support to participants in testing innovative ideas improving the effectiveness of the support system for long-term unemployed. The main results of the project are increasing the level of competence and knowledge of project participants in the field of application, development and effective implementation of innovations and testing the usability of the 30 tested innovations, of which 10 % will be disseminated and incorporated into practice. Key tasks of the project include: recruitment of grant recipients, award of grants, support of grant recipients, creation of the Network of Social Innovators and dissemination and mainstreaming of 3 selected innovations.
