Development of specialisation training of doctors, in areas relevant to the epidemiological-demographic needs of the country, using endoscopic simulation techniques.

The main objective of the project “Development of specialisation training of physicians, in areas relevant to the epidemiological-demographic needs of the country, using endoscopic simulation techniques” is to improve the quality and safety of the specialised training process of doctors in selected fields of medicine by developing, testing and implementing a new solution for the practice of teaching elements using advanced medical techniques of endoscopic simulation using the potential and experience of supranational partners in the period from January 2017 to September 2021. Medical Center for Postgraduate Training Transnational partners: Excellence in Society and Congres (ESC) and the European Federation of the International Society for Digestive Surergy (EFISDS) – The Netherlands The project will implement the following activities: 1.Developing a new solution – a model of specialisation training of doctors – in cooperation with supranational partners 2.Testing a new solution with support from transnational partners 3.Analysis of test results and development of the final version of the new solution 4.Implementation of the developed solution to the practice.Support in the project will include: 142 doctors (42K, 100M) during specialisation (testing stage), 14 instructors of endoscopic procedures and medical simulations, (4K,10M) supporting simulators in the Centre (the stage of developing a new solution and its testing), 76 future instructors of endoscopic techniques (15K, 61M) – academic staff of regional centres (stage of implementation of the new solution).
