Increasing awareness of lung cancer through educational activities and medical services using low-dose Computer Tomography (NDTK) in the northern macro-region is addressed to medical staff dealing with lung diseases and GP facilities and support staff in order to increase competence in the prevention of lung cancer. It is also addressed to patients at high risk of developing lung cancer. The area of activities will include the northern region (Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Pomeranian Voivodeship, Warmia-Mazury Voivodeship). An integral part of the program will be anti-smoking counseling.This program will be based on other anti-tobacco programs, while at the same time alerting patients and redirecting them to anti-tobacco advisory facilities. The health problem covered by the Programme is part of the 2020 Development Strategy as one of the health priorities. Project implementation period 01.01.2020-31.03.2023. The implementation of the medical services provided for in the project is in accordance with the scope provided for in the preventive programme (ADY CRITERIUM No 2). The applicant will provide health services in the afternoon and evening and on Saturdays (ADY CRITERIUM NR 3). 2050 people (patients) and 135 staff will be supported. The main objective is to improve the detection of lung cancer at an early stage of its development.
