The object of the project is to retrofit the built CSM and implement the University Development Programme aimed at optimal use of the developed infrastructure. GUMed has a new facility dedicated to the needs of CSM. An innovative didactic project was planned on the basis of the construction investment, which GUMed carried out using own funds. The last construction works will be completed in January 2015 and the investment cost amounted to PLN 6.241 million. Unique equipment with simulators will be the basis for the introduction of interdisciplinary teaching activities with the possibility of observing the consequences of clinical decisions taken and multi-threaded discussions. Both the creation of simulation scenarios by students with the help of licensed software and tasks carried out with the help of e-learning will allow to obtain a high degree of preparation of students for classes in CSM. In turn, the possibility of exercising advanced scenarios in the preclinical stage will make students better prepared for clinical activities, which may increase the comfort and safety of patients. The educational action plan assumes the implementation of educational tasks in the halls of low fidelity and later high fidelity only if the student demonstrates knowledge and competence at the previous stages of the implementation of the program. For learning with high fidelity simulators, a student with the right amount of manual skills and theoretical knowledge will be qualified. The scheme of such action is at the same time an element checking the results of the training carried out by lecturers at subsequent stages and levels of study. This way of action will significantly improve the efficiency of the activities conducted and reduce their timeframe in high fidelity halls throughout the whole period of study and implementation of the development plan. This should lead to a reduction in lecture and seminar hours in order to increase the number of dates
