The aim of the project is to improve the quality of practical education through the implementation of the development programme and to create a monoprofil medical simulation centre for nursing and obstetrics at the Medical Faculty of the University of Rzeszów. The development of the development programme will aim to improve the quality of nursing and obstetrics teaching, which will allow for the implementation of existing educational projects and the creation of new practical educational projects. A key element of the program will be the creation of a Monoprofil Centre for Medical Simulation, as an object equipped with technologically advanced patient simulators. Simulation rooms will be equipped with the necessary medical equipment and audio-video system for recording simulation sessions, which will allow students to acquire many highly specialised skills.In addition, within the project, didactic, scientific and educational staff conducting classes at the MCSM and scientific and technical staff or technical staff will take part in a number of projects raising their qualifications in the form of: internship visits to medical simulation centres at home and abroad; certified courses for advanced and basic medical simulation instructors; training courses for conducting and organising OSCE examinations; Crisis Resource Management (CRM) trainings – team management in difficult situations; training in assessing the skills of soft students; courses for technical staff of the Medical Simulation Centre; specialised language training courses for the management of the Medical Simulation Centre.
