The project envisages the implementation of courses in the field of cardiology that go beyond the specialisation programme and whose thematic scope concerns medical issues based on Evidence Based Medicine.Training will be organised within 3 modules: echocardiography by esophageal, intervention cardiology and training in so-called “Point of Care”. In order to achieve the expected level of effectiveness of the classes, the project assumes the purchase of specialised equipment allowing to conduct training using medical simulation techniques suitable for postgraduate education. The project provides for the creation in the structures of the projector and partner of a medical simulation laboratory (more than 50 % of educational hours will be carried out in practical form). It also provided for validation of competences acquired in the project by project participants.In addition, trainings will be carried out in the field of communication with the cardiological patient, which will be covered by each participant of the project. The programme of courses has been positively reviewed by the National Consultant in the field of cardiology.The projector and partner are entities entitled to post-graduate training of physicians fulfilling the conditions of Art. 19 paragraph. 1 of the Act of 5 December 1996 on the professions of physician and dental practitioner (Access Criterion No 1)The strengths of the project: 1. Comprehensive training of the entire territory of the country 2. Exhaustion of unmet educational needs (knowledge and skills deficits) is lacking in the country’s offer of this type of training using high-end medical simulators.3. Individual and practical nature of courses.4. Enable students to access top-class specialists in the country’s GUMed and IK5 training staff. Enable students to access high-class state-of-the-art medical simulators.
