The participants’ support path includes: incentive scholarship for 2 years of study, ECDL BASE course, workshops on proper communication with the patient, with his/her family, with an oncological patient, workshops of assertiveness, dealing with difficult stress systems, scholarship on compulsory apprenticeships, a training scholarship for graduates, a qualification course in the field of geriatric nursing, specialist course in the field of RKO, ECG and wound treatment. Specialised adult mannequins will be purchased to support the training, increasing the effectiveness of simulation and training in the epidemiological-demographic area. 30 out of 40 graduates will also receive support in finding employment in regional medicinal entities with which our university has signed cooperation agreements in the framework of training in the new field of nursing.Indicators for the project will include the number of people in nursing or obstetrics supported by the project; number of post-graduate nurses and midwives in the programme in areas related to epidemiological and demonstrative needs; the project complies with the principle of equal opportunities K and M, non-discrimination (including accessibility for people with disabilities), sustainable development and strategic industries for the region and country (medicine and health) and the problem of an ageing population.
