Construction of pedestrian-bicycles in Głogów Municipality to reduce motorised traffic

The object of the project is construction works, including renovations, connected with the creation of four walking-bike lines in Głogów. The investment will reduce individual motorised traffic in the city centre and will be implemented on 4 Głogów settlements: Kopernica (ul. Kepler), Piasts of Silesia (ul. K. The Righteous and St. Queen Jadwiga), Paulinów and Sunny (from ul. Defenders of Peace/ul. Rainbow to St. She’s a sloppy one. The project also provides for the installation of bicycle stands on a street. Kepler, construction of cable line lighting on a wasp. Paulinów, near St. Rainbow and the separation of places for rest at Tęczowek Street (gulls, garbage baskets). It was decided to make bicycle lines made of a phaseless concrete cube and paved with concrete slabs. The advantages of these surfaces are durability, permeability, temperature resistance and other atmospheric factors, as well as low dismantling and replacement costs. It is a solution that fully meets the project’s objectives, generates the lowest costs and reduces the negative impact on the environment. The project will result in a complete separation of motor, pedestrian and cycling traffic. The investment in its entirety will contribute to improving transport coherence by linking existing bicycle roads with those planned for construction in the framework of the project. 2.48 km), because they are all elements connecting the existing bicycle network. The lack of the city bypass causes heavy traffic, mainly through transit traffic and air pollution. The construction of new cycle tractors in the city and allowing residents to use alternative means of transport, such as bicycles, will reduce the number of residents using passenger cars, thus helping to relieve the traffic of motor vehicles.
