The subject of the project is the construction of a “park and drive” system in Wrocław. The project is the first stage of the project, the aim of which is to create convenient conditions for increasing the share of travel by collective transport at the expense of individual motorised transport in Wrocław. The next phases of the project are planned for applications under subsequent recruitments. The components of the project (tasks) are: 1) Construction of car parks at railway stops and public transport junctions – creation of 12 “park and drive” facilities located in 11 different locations in Wrocław, where 808 parking spaces will be built, as well as B&R (6 pcs) facilities with 70 bicycle stands and bicycle roads (0.38 km). 2) Equipment of selected parking lots with an access surveillance system – a surveillance system, video registration and Dynamic Passenger Information will be implemented. Most car parks will be monitored for entry for the purpose of continuing travel by public transport (supervising system allowing entry only for those users of public transport who have an up-to-date ticket). 3) Information and promotion – a series of actions to reach the target groups of the project through effective communication channels. The substantive cell responsible for supervising the implementation of the project is the team for the implementation of the project. Development of rail transport (in the Wrocław City Office).
