The subject of the Project is: 1) construction of 39.13 km and reconstruction of 1.90 km of roads for bicycles in the gminas of Długołęka, Kobierzyce and Wrocław located in the WrOF area, in order to ensure transport continuity in the local system of Wrocław and in connection with cycling roads in the commune participating in the Partnership (type 3.4.A.d.). 2) construction of 1 B&R type building at Boguszowska Street – which will allow for integration of the bike with tram transport (type 3.4.A.b.). The municipality of Wrocław is responsible for the construction of 21.31 km of roads for bicycles, including 20.18 km of newly built roads and 1.13 km of reconstructed roads. The investments will be carried out mainly in the lane of existing roads, including along DK 5, DK 98, DK 94, DW 347, DW 455. The basic criteria for selecting tasks were to ensure the coherence of the cycling system in order to create an alternative to individual transport, especially over a distance of up to 10 km, combining important sources and destinations of bicycle journeys and linking the cycling system with the functions of the city and the needs of users. The entity responsible for the preparation and implementation of the Project on behalf of the Municipality of Wrocław is the Road and Maintenance Management Board in Wrocław. Investor supervision within the framework of non-project activities is provided by ZDiUM and Wrocławskie Inwestycje Sp. z. o.o. The Municipality of Długołęka is responsible for the implementation of roads for bicycles from the border with the Wrocław-Domaszczyn Municipality – generous – Długołęka – Byków – Borowa – to the border with Oleśnica Municipality with a length of 14.23 km. Bicycle roads run in the belt of communal roads, county roads and regional road DW362 (formerly DK 98). Investor supervision will be ensured as part of non-project activities. Kobierzyce commune is responsible for the implementation of bicycle roads with a total length of 5.49 km, including 4.72 km of built roads and 0.77 km of reconstructed roads in the Bielański Node (section of the Kobierzyce-Wrocław cycle route), including along DK 35. The road is designed mainly in a strip of communal roads.
