Redevelopment of streets along Voivodeship Road No. 342 in Wrocław

This investment concerns the reconstruction and extension of the section approx. 5.2 km of streets: Obornice, Pełczyńska, Zajączkowska and Pęgowska located along the provincial road No. 342 in Wrocław. This section of the road is an alternative to national road No 5 in the northern direction of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship as well as a corridor connecting three elements of the TEN-T network: — Wrocław Airport – Motorway A8 – railway line E 59. For residents of Wrocław and neighboring communes (Oborniki Śląskie, Wisznia Mała), this road is often the only access road to jobs located in the city. The project covers: — reconstruction of the section of road 342, including: extension/reconstruction of roads and junctions, construction/reconstruction of pavements and bicycle paths, reconstruction of exits, stop platforms with equipment elements, bus bays, blindfolds, pavements, culverts, construction of road safety elements, design of target traffic organisation, reconstruction of conflict-of-the-ground armament networks, construction of road lighting, reconstruction of drainage for persons, adaptation of greenery, — promotion of the project, including the purchase of information/remembrance boards, carried out under the construction contract. The investment will be carried out between 2019 and 2020. The applicant for the project is the Municipality of Wrocław. The investment was entrusted to the municipal company: Wrocławskie Inwestycje Sp. z o.o. The Project Management System at the implementation stage will guarantee its smooth implementation in accordance with the agreed timetable and settlement with the co-financing institution. The project is technically and technologically feasible – solutions have been adopted to ensure high quality, durability and functionality, while saving costs during the investment and subsequent operation. The applied work technology ensures the realisation of the investment within the set deadline.
