Adaptation of railway line No. 276 to handle passenger services in WrOF by building a railway stop Ivina.

Project for the construction of a railway station (passenger) together with an infrastructure directly intended for the service of travellers using the railway connections in the city of Iwina, located within LK no. 276 Wrocław Główny-Międzylesie, located on the Lamowice-Smardz route, in km 6,273 railway line. The project will be implemented in Dolnośląskie voivodship, WrOF area, Wrocław district, Siechnice district. Planned works for tracks, travellers and small architecture, overhead contact line, power supply, teletech industry and srk and associated infrastructure will be carried out on the ground. 461 m, i.e. from km 6.025 to km 6.486 LK 276, only to the extent associated with adaptation to technical and operational conditions resulting from the construction of a passenger stop. The investment does not involve an increase in the construction parameters of LK No 276. The project will be implemented in partnership with the Siechnice Municipality (the project partner), in the “design and build” system. The entity responsible for its implementation is PKP PLK S.A. (Project Leader). The scope of construction works on the side of the Leader for the construction of 2 external platforms on the alternating side with the accompanying infrastructure, the transition under the tracks, the drainage system of tracks and platforms, adapting platforms to the needs of people with reduced mobility, adjustment of track and subway system, control of railway traffic, power engineering, telecommunications. In turn, on the Partner’s side, construction works will be carried out as part of the task for the accompanying infrastructure, i.e. access road, parking lot, bicycle stands. The implementation of the investment will increase access to railways due to daily commuting to work/school and to handle traffic outside the agglomeration, including tourist traffic. Increasing the role of rail transport is an action to halt the uncontrolled growth of the importance of road transp., in order to meet one of the main objectives of the EU transport policy towards sustainable transport and mobility.
