The project concerns the modernisation of LK No. 274 within the platforms as part of the construction of a railway station (passenger) together with the infrastructure directly designed to handle travellers using the railway connections in Mokronos Górny, located within LK No 274 Wrocław Świebodzki-Zgorzelec Main, located on the Wrocław Zachodni-Smolec route, in the location of the railway crossing in km 8.405. The project will be in Dolnośląskie voivodship, in the WrOF area, in the Wrocław County, Kąty Wrocławskie commune. Planned works concerning tracks, overhead contact line, electricity, telecommunications, srk, roads and crossings will be carried out only in the scope of adaptation to technical and operational conditions resulting from the construction of a passenger stop. The investment for the construction of a passenger stop does not involve an increase in the construction parameters of LK No. 274. The scope of construction works for the construction of 2 single-line platforms on alternating platforms (before and beyond) together with accompanying infrastructure, crossing in level of rails of category B, drainage of tracks and platforms, adapting platforms to the needs of people with reduced mobility, adjustment of track and subway system, control of railway traffic, electricity, telecommunications, construction of parking at the railway stop and infrastructure. Realising the investment will significantly increase access to the railway due to daily commuting to work/school and to handle traffic outside the agglomeration, including tourist traffic. Increasing the role of rail transport is an action to halt the uncontrolled increase in the importance of road transport in order to meet one of the main objectives of EU transport policy, i.e. the pursuit of sustainable transport and mobility. The project will be implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Kąty Wrocławskie (project partner), in syst. Design and build. The entity responsible for its implementation is PKP PLK S.A. (Project Leader).
