The subject of the project is to carry out comprehensive construction works for the purpose of rebuilding and renovating the existing facility for the Senior Club in Yugoslavia, together with the necessary technical infrastructure, located on plot no. 720/10 of the Yuga region. The project also includes the purchase of equipment. The project was divided into two tasks: — task 1 – Establishment of the Senior Club in Yugoslavia – task 2 – Promotional activities The aim of the project is to increase access to social services in the Municipality of Nowa Ruda by creating a Senior Club in Yugoslavia, preventing the isolation and marginalisation of seniors and activating them to take action to improve the quality of life. The project will contribute to the efficient use of an unprecedented municipal facility, organise its existing functional layout and create space for new functions – for social services. The project directly implements the objectives of the ZIT Strategy, as it envisages increasing access to social services in the Nowa Ruda commune through the creation of the Senior Club. The infrastructure will be tailored to the needs of people with disabilities. The Senior Club will provide care services in the form of stationary day care as a meeting place for the elderly. The applicant is the Municipality of New Ruda. The operator will be the Municipal Social Assistance Centre in Nowa Ruda.
