Project Mon. The “Knowledge Centre – Adaptation of the premises of the former department store for public purposes in Bolesławiec” includes the renovation and adaptation of the degraded building of the former shopping house located at ul. Głowacki No. 5 in Bolesławiec, in order to give him new social functions: cultural, educational, integration, activation. This facility is located in the area designated for revitalisation. The aim of the project is a comprehensive revitalisation of Śródmieście – a degraded area in the city of Bolesławiec, which will contribute to improving the quality of life of inhabitants of this area – the main recipients of the project. The project will contribute to the activation and integration of residents, countering the phenomenon of social exclusion. Applicant – Municipality of Bolesławiec is an entity entitled to apply for funds under measure 6.3.1 – OSI, prepared in technical, organizational and financial terms for the implementation of the project. The project is included in the list of “A” of the Municipal Programme of the Municipality of Bolesławiec, adopted by resolution no XXVIII/290/2016 of the City Council of Bolesławiec of 28 September 2016, positively verified by IZ RPO WD. The scope of the project includes: preparation of design documentation, construction works (construction, masonry, finishing works, installation of new installations, thermal modernisation works: thermal- and waterproofing of ceilings), copyright supervision, coordination of construction works by contract engineer, purchase of equipment and promotion. A team of experienced employees of the Applicant will be responsible for the correct implementation of the project. The operator of the infrastructure will be the Municipal Public Library in Bolesławiec, a local cultural institution of the Municipality of Bolesławiec. The project’s products will be: 1) Number of supported infrastructure facilities located in revitalised areas: 1 pcs, 2) Over the areas covered by the revitalisation: 0,1234 ha, 3) L. facilities tailored to the needs of persons with disabilities
