Cervical cancer is a cancer detected in women in Poland later than in more developed countries of the European Union, which prevents effective treatment and rapid return of women to the labour market. The aim of the project is to increase the professional activity of women over 50 years of age in the Jelenio Góra subregion by improving access to the cervical cancer prevention programme and improving reporting for screening in professionally active women. Screening will be carried out in the project by women between the ages of 25 and 59. Planned to achieve the key result indicator: ‘Number of persons who, thanks to ESF intervention, have volunteered for a preventive survey’: 6,000 women. In addition, 8,000 people (7 000 women and 1000 men) will be trained in cervical cancer prevention.
