The project “Do not emigrate here I am staying” responds to one of the main challenges of Wałbrzych and Wałbrzych County, which include a large scale of low professional activity due to insufficient qualifications and social competences, especially in areas intended for revitalisation. The main objective of the project is to strengthen employability or self-employment and then maintain sustainable socio-occupational activity among 131 people at risk of poverty or social exclusion from the Wałbrzych Agglomeration in the period 01.12.2016-30.11.2018. The recipients of the project will be socially excluded and at risk of exclusion or poverty. The project responds to the problem of low professional activity, which, according to local development programmes and project partnership experiences, is directly linked and results in particular from insufficient resourcefulness and frequent social crises. Hence, the project identifies a comprehensive intervention in the areas of awareness, knowledge and professional and social skills: — Individual Development Plans, defining a path of reintegration based on experiences and potential of individual and close surroundings, – a course of social competences building on the basis of strengths the basic skills of dealing with crises, – Coaching support in the areas of individual development and animation in the sphere of relations with the immediate surroundings, giving participation in the activities of the Volunteer Club which build concrete skills of resourcefulness, sense of efficiency and participation in social life. The intervention will result in high employment effects. The improved skills and the strengthening of relations with the supportive environment will also be important.
