The aim of the project The strength of the child is to improve access and increase the quality of foster care support services (hereinafter: PZ), including children and adolescents placed in foster families (hereinafter: RZ) and family orphanages (hereinafter: RDD) and children in care and educational establishments (hereinafter: POW) of the socialisation type up to 14 children and family posttype up to 8 children, as well as an increase in the number of places to provide services in the family foster care (hereinafter: the project is aimed at people living in the Kłodz county. The main problems of children and young people who are in trouble are emotional problems, psychologists, health, education, and lack of social skills as a result of the diagnosis of needs. Carers, on the other hand, face difficulties in carrying out caring functions due, inter alia, to limited access to specialised assistance and support for them and for children who enter the foster care system with various deficits. The project will also be a response to the problem of insufficient number of places of provision of services.Improving access and increasing the quality of specialised support services will take place through the implementation of activities in the project, i.e.:- trainings for candidates for government,- trainings raising competences of persons holding RPZ, including supervision, legal assistance, psychological assistance,- training of competences and socio-occupational skills of children over 15 years. The implementation of the project will contribute to the awareness of the local community in the perception of governments and RDDs and children present there.
