The Good (from)Family project assumes complementary support for families experiencing caring and educational problems, including in a situation where there is a risk of losing childcare opportunities, in accordance with the Act of 9 June 2011 on supporting family and foster care system (Dz. U. of 2015, pos. 332. e.g. through: families supporting, consulting and specialised counseling, including legal-citizens – as a complementary action (mobile work of specialists with assistance in handling matters), therapy and mediation, organising meetings for families aimed at exchanging experiences and preventing isolation, called support groups or self-help groups.The support will include at least 14 families living in the municipality of Dobroszyce with difficulties in fulfilling educational roles. The need for action is due to the tendency to increase the efficiency of families in a multi-problem aspect – unemployment, poverty, violence, addiction, family breakdown, crime and lack of access to high-quality social services in the region.With the support of specialists, parents will rebuild their potential to act as care and education by increasing their social competences, regaining their sense of control, and increasing their motivation to change their attitudes and children to develop their skills. Participants will have the opportunity to follow the authors of the desired support family models, as well as within self-help groups to strengthen their sense of caucus and solidarity, mutual assistance and cooperation in the direction of solving social problems.
