Świecie belongs to the Kujawsko-Pomeranian zone where emissions of particulate matter PM10 were exceeded (according to acceptable levels for the protection of human health) – the zone was classified as Class C in terms of PM10 dust level. At the moment when the possibility of obtaining financial support within the framework of the RPO in K-P for the implementation of the thermal modernisation works envisaged by the project, the City of Świecie decided to take advantage of the opportunity and decided to implement the project. The idea for its implementation stems from the need to improve the thermal comfort of the public utility building. This project aims to reduce heat loss by penetrating ventilated and nonventilated stropods, reducing heat losses on heating excess ventilation air and increasing the efficiency of central heating systems. To this end, and in the context of the current state described above, the following thermo-modernisation measures are planned: 1. Warming of the ventilated building with mineral wool or cellulose granulate (including repair of roofing), Warming of non-ventilated mineral wool plates (including removal of existing insulation layers and associated robots) 2. Installation of a mechanical ventilation and exhaust ventilation system with heat recovery (heat recovery efficiency is 75 %) in the gym, in halls: gymnastics and correction rooms with room facilities (bathrooms, washrooms, showers), 3. Replacement of the internal installation of c. o. with radiators and installation of control devices.
