“Termomodernisation of public buildings in Włocławek – stage I”

The project “Termomodernisation of public utility buildings in Włocławek – stage I” will be the first of three planned projects aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the most neglected urban public institutions. The subject of the project will be a deep and comprehensive thermal modernisation of six public buildings, i.e.: Municipal Centre for Family Assistance, Integration Schools Team No. 1 (building B) and Public Kindergartens No 27, 12, 22 and 19. This investment consists of thermal modernisation improvements to reduce the demand for heat and electricity. RES will also be used as part of the project – in the Public Kindergarten building no.27 a solar system will be installed for heating hot water, consisting of 6 solar collectors. The scope of work shall include: insulation of external walls, warming of stropodache and replacement of roof covering, replacement of lighting for energy-efficient, replacement of central heating and hot water systems, replacement of doors and windows. Each building, due to different technical conditions, requires different measures in the process of thermo-modernisation, but work done in individual buildings will be carried out within the framework of a common goal of reducing energy consumption. Currently, the above buildings do not meet the requirements regarding the maximum E value of seasonal heat demand for heating, and their external partitions have low thermal insulation, characterised by unsatisfactory values of the heat transfer coefficient U and R. Internal installations of the heating systems of the facilities have a number of defects resulting from outdated technical solutions and long-term use. The project will have a positive impact on climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions to the atmosphere by 465.870 tonnes CO2/year.
