Reconstruction of the tramway track in street. The Polish Army on the section from ul. Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński to ul. Chemical with the purchase of rolling stock

The project involves the reconstruction of the tram line along the street. Polish Army from ul. ul. Łukasiewicza to ul. Chemical, along with the necessary reconstruction of the road system on the section of ul. Polish Army and purchase of tram rolling stock (low-floor 3-member rolling stock with a capacity of min. 120 la). — complement the investment). The aim of the project is to improve the conditions for the smooth and safe movement of persons. Reducing environmental nuisance by making transport tasks more optimally divided into modes of transport, i.e. with a greater share of public transport modes. The project will improve public communication through the implementation of the following specific objectives:- integration of various forms of public transport and individual transport,- improving the accessibility of areas, which are the main destinations of travel, using other ways of travelling than by passenger cars,- improving travel standards in collective transport,- improving the conditions for travellers with reduced mobility,- rationalising the transport behaviour of residents,- increasing the efficiency of the operation of the transport system,- improving traffic safety and personal safety of users of the transport system,- improving the environment and reducing the burden of transport for residents. length of modern tram line/urban commune line (1.75 km), long roads for bicycles (0.76 km), number of expanded ITS (1 pcs), number of units purchased by rolling stock belt. (6 pcs) with a capacity (720 persons), number of interchanges. (1 pcs). The project is part of sub-measure 3.5.2 ROP JK-P 2014-2020, its implementation changes urban mobility patterns towards a more sustainable (higher share of public transport) will contribute to reducing CO2 emissions. This project is included in the ITI Strategy as a project in line with the model of transport operation in the ITI area (Objective 1, Action 1.2).
