Beneficiary of a grant project: The Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Toruń is an institution of environmental protection within the meaning of the Act of 27 April 2001 – Environmental Protection Law, the activity of which covers the entire area of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship. The project covering its scope of support of 30 Points for the collection of municipal waste will be carried out in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship, in the regions of municipal waste management, which do not provide for a component for thermal conversion (according to the demarcation line from OP IIA 2014-2020). Project scope implemented by the beneficiary of the project: education and information activities in the field of waste prevention aimed at residents of Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship, b) information and promotion activities informing about receipt of funding for the implementation of the grant project, c) management involving the implementation of a grant project in accordance with the stated objective: preparation and transfer of proposals to the competent institution of criteria for selecting grant recipients – final beneficiaries of the project, making on the basis of specific criteria the selection of recipients, concluding agreements with grant recipients for entrustment, accounting for expenses incurred by grant recipients, monitoring the performance of the tasks of the recipients, checking the performance of tasks by grantees, recovery of grants in case of their use contrary to the objectives of the project. The grantee shall carry out the material scope of the project, in particular: infrastructure for the selective collection and treatment of the following municipal waste fractions: paper, metals, plastics, glass, biodegradable waste and other municipal waste, including the construction and development of municipal waste selective collection points (PSZOK), b) information and promotion activities concerning the awarded grant.
