The extension of DW240 on analysed sections (16.5 km), aims at comprehensive expansion of the road lane, among others: reinforcement of the existing surface in places of extensions and correction of horizontal arches, construction of new paving structure, extension of junctions, reconstruction and construction of new bus bays, construction of pavements, correction of non-normative technical parameters (horizontal and vertical arches), road level correction, reconstruction and construction of new culverts, construction of rainwater drainage, extension and construction of new lighting, marking. The project envisages the construction of a new section of DW240, which is the Płazowo bypass. The investment is aimed at increasing the transport accessibility of the roads of the voivodship, especially the connection of the regional roads with the so-called communication system, including the TEN-T network. The specific objectives are:-provisions of communication between district centres Chojnice-Tuchola-Świat;-provision of road-free traffic in the region and conditions of driving-proportional conditions for the development of entrepreneurship by increasing the ease of access to the roadS-5 -dost. In addition, DW240 is important for connecting the towns along it with the district towns of Tuchola and Świecie and will improve the connection of the sub-regional city of Chojnic with the provincial city of Toruń and the communication between the gosp. centre in Świecie and the centres of gosp. in Tuchola and Chojnice.The investment will contribute to the realisation of the indicators:(a) of the product: Length of reconstructed voivodship roads-16.5 km;b) of product: Number of built bypasses – 1 pcs of the result: The load capacity index of the voivodship road-100 kN.
