O objetivo do projeto é promover a melhoria da eficiência energética no edifício da Universidade da Letónia, Mazā Lubānas iela 11, Riga.1) as economias de energia térmica previstas após a execução do projeto não são inferiores a 294,63 MWh/ano (40,27 %/ano); 2) O consumo de calor previsto para aquecimento após a execução do projeto não excederá 51,18 kWh/m2 por ano;3) redução prevista das emissões de CO2 87024 kg/ano; Custos elegíveis totais do projeto 955 704,38 EUR, incluindo apoio do Fundo Europeu de Desenvolvimento Regional a 85 % ou 812 348,72 EUR e financiamento do orçamento do Estado a 15 % ou 143 355,66 EUR. De acordo com a auditoria energética e a inspeção técnica do edifício, está prevista a aplicação das seguintes medidas de melhoria da eficiência energética no edifício:1.Construções de base:-Isolamento da fachada utilizando a abordagem da casa; — Substituição de enchimentos de encravamento;-Isolamento de palácios de tijolos; —Isolamento das janelas do exterior ao longo do perímetro, incluindo sob os parapeitos das janelas (quando fisicamente possível);-Substituição da janela da cave da Veco por janelas de PVC com uma embalagem de vidro seletiva.
