The object of the project is the construction of GPZ Grójec 2 (110 kV/SN stations) to enable the connection of new entities (recipients, generators), improve the reliability of power supply and the quality of energy supply. The project will be implemented in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship – Grójecki district, Grójec commune, Kępina village, jud. No 10/1. The project is planned on plot No 10/1 owned by PGE Dystrybucja S.A. The direct surroundings of the station are orchards. The nearest farm buildings are located about 200 m from the station fence. The growing demand for electricity in the district of Grójeckie necessitates the need to expand the existing network of NV and SN. The existing GPZ Grójec as well as the overhead lines of the SN are not able to meet the related needs. The load, including GPZs Grójec, Warka, Mogielnica, in the top of the Grójeckie (storage) areas, i.e. September, October is about 90 MVA. Of this, GPZ Grójec accounts for at least half of this burden. The increase in burdens year-on-year in this period reaches with cautious estimates of several percent. Changing the operating system of the SN network by switching the power supply of 15 kV lines powered from GPZ Grójec to other GPZs, mitigates the peak loads of GPZ Grójec, but on the other hand dramatically worsens the voltage levels on the 15 kV lines switched. As a result of the project, the following functionalities of smart electricity infrastructure (7 Smart Grid functionalities) will be implemented:
