Improvement of the educational infrastructure for Secondary School no. 190, str. Nitu Vasile no.16

The general objective is to increase the quality of education infrastructure, access and attractiveness of the education unit, to ensure an educational process at European standards and to increase the participation of the school population in the educational process, to reduce school drop-out and early school leaving, to a higher attainment rate of compulsory education and to increase the transition rate towards higher levels of education, also participating in the achievement of horizontal objectives in the field of equal opportunities, environmental protection and sustainable development.The importance of the investment objective derives from the need to provide the necessary material resources to ensure adequate space for sports activities, thus imposing investments for rehabilitation, improvement, expansion and equipping the educational infrastructure in compulsory education. Investments will focus both on the expansion of the spaces, so that the inclusion of all children of school age can be ensured, as well as on increasing the quality of the educational act, by providing the spaces and conditions for a quality education and increasing the participation of the school population in the educational process conducted in primary and secondary education.The purpose of the investment is the rehabilitation, modernisation, development and equipping of the Secondary School no. 190 in Sector 4, Bucharest, by carrying out rehabilitation and extension works of the swimming pool and sports hall, modernising the educational unit, as well as equipping with equipment, teaching and sports equipment, including the creation of special facilities for people with disabilities. These measures will ensure essential conditions for student co-interest, discourage absenteeism and reduce early school leaving/leaving, increase graduation and transition to higher levels of education.
