COCKTAIL project

Sociotechnical devices have changed social relations, the relationship to otherness and time, but also the media ecosystem. We observe the emergence of new forms of interpersonal and community communication, new types of reliance and ultimately new fields of expression and discussion using the full force of these channels of communication, both participatory and reticular. The multiplicity of actors, the speed of dissemination of messages, their potential impact on brands/products represent a significant risk for companies that do not have analysis of information passing through the networks and therefore elements of decision support to adapt their commercial policy and communication strategy. In this changing context, the IT tools available to companies are real “black boxes” and do not integrate the specificities and the business context. The project will create a real-time observatory of trends and weak signals circulating in food discourse on Twitter, a true resonance chamber that promotes instantaneity, immediacy and speed of information spread. It will be a digital platform combining big data, real-time analysis tools and artificial intelligence for the processing of massive data.
