Digital technology is at the heart of the Higher Education and Research strategy in order to support users in terms of pedagogy, research activities and administration. The Digital Directorate of the University of Burgundy is continuously working to set up innovative data hosting services to meet these socio-economic needs and challenges. Thus, the UBFC Regional Datacenter was commissioned in 2016, and certified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research in 2018. The COVID-19 health crisis has initiated a profound change in the uses of digital technology, and has accelerated the digital transition in all fields of activity of universities. The UBFC Datacenter, a nerve centre for hosting digital services and data, is at the heart of this transformation. The InfraNum project is fully in this context and aims to strengthen and modernise the digital infrastructures of the University of Burgundy according to 3 axes: — Modernise private cloud and data storage infrastructures and thus meet the hosting needs of local and national actors such as AMUE, ESUP – Proposing large-scale distance or hybrid education through the implementation of virtualised educational rooms – Increase the digital computing power offered by the regional mesocentre to research actors
