The subject of the Project is the modernisation of the 110 kV Łomża 1- Łomża 2 line and the modernisation of the 110/15 kV Łomża station, in accordance with the applicable standards of PGE Dystrybucja S.A. The modernisation of the line includes the reconstruction of the existing overhead, single-track 110 kV Łomża 1- Łomża 2 power line into a single-track 110 kV cable line of the same relationship. The length of the designed 110 kV cable line is 3.8 km. Currently, a 110 kV single-track overhead line between GPZ Łomża 1 and GPZ Łomża 2 is being developed for demolition. The route of the 110 kV line runs from the gate located on the territory of GPZ Łomża 1. It crosses the closed railway area, later the line passes through urban, industrial and agricultural areas, then enters the Łomża 2 GPZ station. The connection of the power station GPZ Łomża 1 with the station GPZ Łomża 2, after the dismantling of the overhead line, will be maintained using a new 110 kV cable line laid mainly in the road lanes of the city of Łomża. The modernization of the station consists in the demolition and expansion of the existing 110/15 kV GPZ Łomża 1 power station. In the area covered by the investment, there is an overhead switchgear 110/15 kV, a switchgear building SN, a container building, overhead lines with WN poles and cable lines SN, two power transformer stations, two transformer stations for own needs, two battery stations for capacitors. The 110/15 kV Łomża 1 station is connected to the professional power network by four 110 kV overhead lines heading Ostrołęka, Łomża 2, Zambrów and Jantar. The project assumes the demolition of the existing station infrastructure in the scope of: power equipment of 110 kV stations, their supporting structures and foundations, including: 2 power transformer stations 110/15kV, 4 linear fields, 2 clutch fields, 2 transformer fields, 2 transformer stations for own needs 15 kV, 2 battery stations for capacitors 15 kV, cable ducts, cable lines, lightning protection system, teletechnical and terrain lighting, rainwater drainage connection and internal road.
